New era hawks. Thoughts?

Created by: CaptainClutch
Team: 2019-20 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 22, 2018
Published: Jul. 22, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Colliton will take his spot as a head coach by the beginning of 19-20 season. Panarin signs and young defensive core is starting to make damage. Jake Wise becomes Prayden Point kind of a player and is ready to be an impact third line center. This team is fast and plays modern up tempo hockey. One of the favorites to win cup in 2020 summer. + if we suck in 18-19 season, we could add a very good player with our 1st round pick.

Its very realistic, but I dont think Seabrook will continue to b as bad as he was last year. I think he can at least still hold as a good top 4.

Even by 2020 the defensive core won’t be experienced enough to win a cup. Henri is Chicago’s closest prospect to being ready but Boqvist and Beaudin are still a whiles away.

Why do you think seabs will get better? I think he just cant keep up with the speed anymore. That's the problem. But yeah, I really hope he could be a good top 4 D. If not, it's a huge problem.

I dont think Boqvist is far away. He will be ready in 19-20 season and will put up 40+ points immediately. Remember that. Only thing he has to do is to add some muscle to his body and he's got great time to do that now and in London next season and then a very good summer next year. That's it. He will be ready in 19-20.

Ya I think he will play but I’m not ready to say he can step in and play 20 minutes. I think if they take their time with him he will be a guy that competes for Rookie of the year right away. My point is just that they won’t be ready to be announced contenders again until he takes over for Kieth which isn’t likely until closer to 2021-2022

Whether Boqvist will be ready or not will be interesting for sure. I'd love to see him get major PP minutes. I don't think Forsling will get $2M. He needs to step up his game a lot for $2M. Wise had a good camp, but it's also a bit of high hope's that 1 season at BU will be enough to make him a true #3C...however you have decent cap available. Overall I'm fine with the direction they're going.
