No Bracco's not worth Trouba.

Funny joke....but maybe you should stop over valuing your players (above) before projecting the idea that all Leaf fans are guilty of it.

Realistic haul for Trouba, and may even be a piece short from Detroit - fact is, he is highly valuable and every team in the league would welcome him to their top 4. Toronto fans saying Jets fans are "overvaluing Trouba," and then proceeding to include him in every ACGM team they make is hysterically hypocritical - easier to just admit that Trouba is a very good player and would be a great addition to any team and that if a team wants him, they will have to be willing to give up a lot.

Svechnikov would have have been the 1st overall pick in last years draft....

So what is Evgeny Svechnikov's ceiling?

No one knows ..... which is why they wouldn't trade him for a guy like Trouba right now.

Would you trade Laine for for Trouba? ..... nope ..... and Svechnikov could very well be just as good ..... so no one's trading him for a shut down D that might walk in 2 years.

A smiley face after an inexcusably incorrect comment is the ultimate form of disrespect to yourself and the people you love .... you gotta live with that now.

Wth, so you are telling me that guy who struggles at the AHL level and was scratched during the calder cup playoffs has ceiling of Laine? Aren't you misleading Evgeny with Andrei? Because Andrei Svechnikov drafted by Carolina has limit of Laine and would be no1 last year without any doubt and Carolina wouldnt trade him.. ever. Evgeny Svechnikov drafted by Detroit few years ago seems like a fringe NHLer.. he struggles on AHL level and has a price that is nowhere near Trouba..

So stop talking about how "wrong" I'm and look at what you are saying first. My comment was right.

You are correct and I was wrong....and then I was a dick....so I apologize.

I was confusing them....I didn't even know who Evgeny Svechnikov was until just now.

In my defense....my rudeness was mainly due to the Bracco comments....I see people criticize Toronto fans for dumb Bracco trades....a lot more than I see dumb Bracco trades.

But I will leave all of my comments up for everyone to ridicule.

With that said:

- Svechnikov and Bracco were both drafted in 2015 and have very similar AHL numbers (Bracco is 5 inches shorter though).
- Athanasiou and Brown were both drafted in 2012 and have very similar NHL numbers (Brown has a 20 goal season though).
- Toronto's 2nd round pick will likely be 5 - 20 spots later than Detroit's 2nd.

Would you be agreeable to sending Trouba to Toronto if we added the following:

1. A 2019 4th round pick.
2. A young defensemen:
- Connor Carrick, RD (if you think he upgrades Poolman)
- Andrew Nielsen, LD (3rd round pick in 2015)
- Jesper Lindgren, RD (4th round pick in 2015)

So the trade would be something like:

Trouba for Brown + Carrick + Bracco + 2nd (2019) + 4th (2019)
