I used Hertl because I don't think Columbus would settle for Tierney. I didn't throw in the 1st rd pick because I'm not so sure DW would part with that on a guy just yet.

I just think the Jackets will want more than that. The guy is a top 10 player in the league. He should command a lot. Add another prospect and at least a 3rd and I think you're in the ballpark.

If you look at what Columbus is rumored to get in a Toronto/Detroit/Columbus deal, this is basically nothing..

I agree. This isn't a super realistic trade, but I wanted to more focus on the actual roster player going (Hertl) and what Panarin would look like in the lineup. Picks and prospects were secondary but I do agree it will take more to get it done.

Sure, that's fair. I think if it's Hertl + picks/prospects (although I don't really see them moving him), it would make sense.
