Take the first out and it’s close to fair value.

Disagree. Bob is better than Bishop and 2 years younger, and Panarin is every bit as good as Seguin. Being a LW rather than center does not detract, as Panarin dishes assists better than Seguin, so i consider that a wash.
Highest assist years for Seguin were 46 & 45. Panarin has highs of 47 and 55 last year.

I don't know how probable this trade is, but I think it's really close to being fair. Nice job

Think about how much value this 1st rounder could have.
1) Dallas looses there 1st line Center which could lead to missing the playoffs again and that pick becoming a lottery pick. I doubt they make the playoffs ever without Seguin or a defined 1st line center. Not a fan of Dallas so idk about Benn as a center. I Like this trade. Bob = Starting G in Bishop + Potential Lottery Pick.

Value looks decent for both sides, but I still think Dallas declines. Seguin has already said that he loves Dallas and wants to sign a long-term extension here and Dallas was not one of Panarin's preferred destinations. Trading away a good chance at an 8-year extension for a guy that will likely walk at the end of the year is a massive gamble for Dallas. I can definitely see them being content with keeping the worse goalie and retaining their pick if it means getting to keep their elite forward. You also run into lineup issues. Benn is one of the elite LW's in the game (as is Panarin), and given the Stars pretty glaring hole at Center, I can't see them trading away the elite center, and the only top-6 center on their roster for an elite LW, which they already have.

The value looks pretty fair, but considering where Dallas' weaknesses lie right now, I can't see them moving Seguin unless they are getting at least a top-6 Center, so that they can leave Benn on his natural LW side.
