See I would have done
McGinn-Aho-TT
Skinner-Staal-Williams
Zykov-Necas-Svechnikov
Martinook/PDG-Rask-Ferland

Pesce-Slavin
CHD-Hamilton
TvR-Faulk
Fleury

Gives you solid shut down D pairings and balenced botom pairs. Gives you solid scoring throughout the lineup and allows the 3 rookies (yes I know they are all rookies) to do what they do best. 2 snipe and the other creates Chances. the chaos they could cause is too great not to take the risk on. Skinner gets 2 cup winners beside him. Aho TT and McGinn get that Hymsn Matthews Nylander feel, one can win the puck back and the other 2 are just dangerous. the bottom line can score and hit. Just my thoughts whatever happens I'm hoping for more then 82 games this season

I personally really like your FWD lines. Splitting the rookies up to at least start the season seems like a logical way to let them get their feet wet next to veteran leaders. Svech and Necas have their whole careers to play together, let them start the year apart and see how it goes. If they light it up in camp then im all for it but it scares me putting them both together to start the year.

If Zykov is not with Aho-TT, I really like the idea of either Ferland or McGinn on the LW. I think both bring a physical edge and strong 2-way play and both could score over 20 goals on that line.

Honestly I doubt Ferland plays top 6. I doubt he plays top 9 tbh, but McGinn proved last season he can shoot, pass, hit fight, kill penalties. He is one of the most versatile players in the league.

Last 2 seasons Ferland scored 15 and 21 goals and had shooting percentage of 14%. He's no 4th liner. If you like McGinn, I think you'll love Ferland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hhSj1mdY3U.

I know the numbers, now look at his linemates. As good as Aho and Teravainen are, theyre not Guadreau or Monahan..... I wouldn't have him near the top 6
