Shaw is injured to start the year same with Byron.

Also Alzner and Petry didn't work last year as a pair. They tried it and gave it time but in the end they split them up and i can't see them going back

Byron and Shaw are going to be injured, I think Domi will play with Drouin, and Pacioretty with Danault (because they always play together).

Edit :
Also IMO Mete and Juulsen should get more ice time.

Quit living in the past.. Plekanec was never a 1st line Center.. was never a 2nd line center.. put him on the 4th line where he belongs. He did squat for the Leafs. Let him get his 1000 games for the Habs and then sit his butt on the bench where it belongs. Put in Peca on the 3rd or 4th line and let him develop after that.

7 20+ goal seasons
6 50+ point seasons (not to mention hitting up to 70)
One of the better 2 way, shutdown guys that can eat PK mins and fill in on the PP.
4th liner material for sure.

Agreed he probably shouldn't be on the 2nd line here but you've gotta relax with your Sid Seixeiro style comments on every Habs post.

LOL yeah true sorry. Just never been a fan of him. I've always thought his attitude sucked. Which I honestly could be wrong about too but I always thought he had a grump old man attitude. Yeah ok maybe scored much better than a 3rd liner would but even still I don't think he should have ever been put on the first line, but then again that is nothing new. Habs haven't had a true 1st liner center since Vinny.
