Colorado is not trading ottawas first. It would be top5 pick for sure and might be hughes. Also imagine if Stone and EK sign in Colorado in FA

Ottawa would be morons if they keep EK, Stone and Duchene for the whole year. And don't like the trade at all.

The would trade it back to the Sens for a discounted Stone or Karlsson who are extended.

They are a bottom 5 team as it stands right now. THey have one of the worst if not the worse goalie tandems in the league right now and kept the same coaching staff who plays a glorified trap game and historically does not adjust his schemes.

Combined with the fact they have terrible depth outside of a top line and 1 D Pairing. That team is a tire fire of a roster
