i would say mcavoy will be better than krug maybe not offensivly but if the playoffs were any indicator as to where he is in his development then he is going to be a number 1 D

Yeah, the Oilers have all the risk here without much upside. This would be a no-brainer for the Bruins.

Here was my thought process:
Add veteran leader at second line which is a downgrade but opens the Krejci-Lucic link from 2011 Cup run. Add Krug to Solve the whole powerplay. Solve the RHD position that has bothered the Oiler’s by adding the young Doughty. Give a second round pick as an incentive in acquiring McAvoy. Many people don’t realize just how good McAvoy truly is.
