Not saying all of these would happen but just will be interesting to see what could have been. Hope you guys enjoy! Also got these trades and ideas from an article. And yes I do realize that this is very unrealistic and would have never happened.

in fairness, pretty much every team could have a borderline all star team with the guys they missed on in the draft.

Hindsight is always 20/20. You could do this with just about every team. Though, I do have time stamped tweets saying Nylander would be better than Dal Colle. That one I do think was a mistake.

Totally agree about hindsight. But it was still fun to see what could have been

Agreed but it was just for fun to look at all the horrible mistakes Garth Snow made

A lot of it can be attributed to their development team as well. The Wings had a long history of not only finding gems, but letting them develop properly in their system.

NO way that scheifele gets drafted any higher than he did he was projected as a late first rounder, coutourie or Hamilton though would both have fit

I didn’t look into it that much but scheifele has obviously turned out to be much better than those two guys and would be amazing if isles picked him.

Yes best bargain in hockey, and for the jets to have a fighting chance they need to keep drafting well and going away from the assumed pick and going off the board on occasion, most of the kids that are coming are all home grown and out of pretty well every round of the draft and a bunch of difference makers from the first
