Description
So last time I checked, the Rangers are beginning a rebuild. I highly doubt they re-sign Zuccarello, so here they trade him and get good value for him. The Sabres got Skinner for a decent prospect, a 2nd and 3rd. Zucc is very similar. One year left in his contract, the team he was on doesn’t necessarily need him. But Skinner is a better player than Zucc, so here the Bruins give a prospect who’s upside is lower than Pu, and a 5th over the 3rd. It helps the Bs as it fills that 2RW spot, and it helps the Rangers by propelling them towards rebuilding. So tell me what you think. It may be really bad, and if it is you can tell me. Just don’t be a dick about it. I’m sick of “Boston passes” or “Florida laughs in your face and hangs up the phone.” Give an explanation why you think it’s bad please! Wow this took a while to write. Well, tell me what you think. Oh, and also, I put Bjork in the minors because I think he will need some time to regain his confidence after his shoulder injury. He could always be called up in a circumstance that suits it. And I think Frederic makes the 3C spot out of camp, because Kuraly sure as hell ain’t a 3C.

This is exactly what I was saying with Bobrovsky idea to the blues decent value for a rental. And letting Korpisalo take the reigns

Yeah, not a bad idea. I'd personally rather wait and see if the market resets before moving Zuccarello. I also think he could get comparable value to Skinner: Skinner's better, but Zuccarello's own team hasn't been bashing him constantly.

I feel like the Jackets still intend to use Bobrovsky.

I feel the same way, but it depends on if they go through a rebuild knowing that Panarin is going or if they try to pursue other arrangements. idk tho. not my place to assume, but the scenarios can vary quite a bit.

True, yeah. If they can't get a comparable player to Panarin they will probably have to rebuild.

Do you seem them trying for a guy like Stone?

That would be interesting, actually. If OTT is convinced that Stone won't re-sign, they could swap them and try to flip Panarin at the deadline, while CBJ could get a guy they could re-sign.

Dunno if OTT is willing to give up on Stone, though.

Isles would not be interested. You aren't getting more than a 4th for McQuaid.

I’m not interested in Rangers deal. Could see them doing it. Would be a mistake.

I explained the Isles, you are not getting that kind of return for Quaider.

Would be a mistake to give up on Seny, one of the few RH shots they have in the system for a rental that just blocks Heinen or Bjork from PT. Adding Zucc would mean having to play Backes or Heinen at 3rd line center. Something they prefer not to do.

I don’t see Backes or Heinen playing 3C. I think it’ll be Frederic. As for giving up on Seny, that’s fine. Put someone like Anton Blidh in there instead. And I think that Zucc will be a good fit on Krecjis wing so I don’t see why not. Your point is valid I guess.

Blidh would not get it done. Cehlarik probably would. Backes and Heinen won’t be on the 4th line so adding another wing means one would have to play 3C. The other on 3RW. Unless one was moved. With Bjork in AHL.

JFK is currently ahead of Frederic for 3C spot.
