Since NSH will have the room to make Seguin fit under the cap, they won't be taking on a bad contract. Take out the 2nd round pick & Bonino, switch Dougherty for Fabbro and they're you have it.

T.Seguin for E.Tolvanen + D.Fabbro + NSH '19 1st round pick

I just don't think DAL would like to give their best forward to a division rival, even if the value is almost right.

Nashville could resign him plus this would make them favourites out of the west

Or not....Look at who they need to re-sign....Fiala, Hartman, Sissons, Ellis...etc and they have 3 Mill plus cap increase.

Again, it's not about what YOU think is fair, but what IS the price of those types of rentals at the TDL. A lot of people doesn't seem to understand that those are the types of deals that happens at the TDL, no matter if you like it or not or if you think that's too much or not. The price for a top15 center in the NHL, even just for two months, is that, period. Based on all those types of deals in the previous 15 TDL.

And one more thing : if there's ANY GM in the league that doesn't shy away from that type of blockbuster moves, it's CLEARLY D.Poile!! I wouldn't be surprise at all (that is, IF Dallas is WAY behind for the playoffs and IF he hasn't yet signed an extension with them...which I don't think will happen)

Yes, Dallas will only do it if they have no chance at a playoff spot. Poile may do it but as I said, Dallas will say thanks....I think the only way Dallas will get a return like that is if the other team can re-sign him...Which nashville can't

Nashville isn't interested. Would rather risk it with the prospects.

We'd have to have assurances that Seguin would sign (like the Turris deal) even then this would be hard for me to do from a Nashville perspective (I'm really high on Tolvanen). Still that center depth would be amazing. We could trade Bonino in the offseason to give us the extra capspace to give Seguin 10-11M.
