Honestly, he probably can’t adapt to the new speed of the game, but it’s promising to think that he is atleast trying.

Can he be a reliable top 4 d-man in the NHL again? I’m not asking him to live up to his contract, but can he be an asset again?

All jokes aside, I've always loved Seabs, and it sucks to see him get worse. But you can't get fat in a league that is trending toward McDavid/Matthews speed. Seabs will never be fast, but he can be responsive enough to still be a solid defenseman IF he comes in lean and sticks to it. Let's fuckin' hope, cause Duncs can't carry the mail by himself anymore...

Did you lose fat or muscle? A little speed may not mean much if he has lost constructive mass.
