Description
When I saw the reports that Karlsson denied the rumours he wouldn't extend with a Canadian team I immediately thought . . .let's do this to outrage the ACGM community.

All the recapture penalties go to Nashville when Shea retires (Melyk like) and Ottawa will basically save EK's salary (Melyk really like). Picks? Why not? What's an ACGM post without someone demanding you add picks to a trade because reasons.

Bahahaha... this trade is horrible. Why not a 6th round pick plekanec lol. Think Montreal needs to think more about a rebuild and less about star players.

Yeah i'm pretty sure Karlsson was talking about teams like the Leafs, Jets and Oilers teams much closer to winning the cup then Montreal. Cup contenders.

He would be sweet with McDavid and i doubt that Winnipeg and Toronto can afford a $11 million D man without moving a player or two out.

It is pretty clear the EK is prepared to have a career year and then look for max $$$ as a UFA. Given that it's just for one year, EK really has zero say in where he goes.

I think it's fair. Maybe add a 3rd going to MTL to compensate for taking on Bobby Ryan's AWFUL contract and we're square.

Also playing EK on the left side was a nice touch.
