Description
Explanation For Panarin Deal:

Although the belief is Panarin wants to be in New York he looks to be thinking about Tampa long and hard. He has his buddies Vasy and Kuch here and he just bought a home in Florida. The value went down since he did not want to sign an extension at this time. Worst case is the lose Panarin in free agency, but they would lose Yanni in free agency as well. This trade makes Tampa a powerhouse this year making them a sure fire number one option to win the Stanley Cup.

His home is a condo and it was purchased in south Florida. South beach to be exact. Panthers are more logical as it will reunite him with friend and former line mate Dadanov.

The condo is over an hour away from Sunrise, though

What do you think about the trades I could care less about his house location.

4 stars for realizing that Panarin can only be a one year rental. The team already needs to shed a lot of cap for next year and although panarin is good you would have to really gut your core to fit him. Would make for a deadly team this year though.

Nicely done. Good Job in showing the reality of that Panarin is a rental. One thing, if the Rangers (who might be the only team Callaghan waives his NMC) might not do the deal. They might want to sign Panarin for themselves and prevent Tampa from getting cap space.
Why do folks get so excited about a multi millionaires having a condo in Florida. Lots of middle class people from the North East have two or three homes....including a condo in Florida.

Yes but much closer than Tampa. As for the trade for a 1 year rental it fair in my eyes.

Yeah the trade is definitely fair I'm just telling that fella that just because he lives in florida doesnt mean the panthers are a realistic option

They are very realistic option, young very talented team and he would play with his good friend Dadanov. Not saying it will happen but definitely an option

Steep price for a rental, but that's what it'd be. STAR players deserve, and have the choice of which city they want to live in. That choice comes only once (in their prime) or twice. Sounds like he, and his girl, want ny city. All this other stuff about condos, countrymen and ex-teammates is hilarious!

Isn't the 2019 first already going to the Rangers from the McDonagh deal?

If so, your trading the same pick twice to the same team?

No it is not, the Pick we gave the Rangers was a 2019 Second if the Lightning win the Stanley cup it is a 2019 1st Round Pick. I am saying that no matter if they win or don’t the rangers get the 2019 1st. Meaning there is no longer a condition on it since they are taking Callahan.
