No. Just no. Ridiculous. Add 5 first round picks to the offer from Minnesota and you might be close, even with Soderberg as a cap dump, he's still a useful player just over paid. There is absolutely no need or reason for the Avs to do this. Most stupid thing I've seen on cap friendly to date!

Yeah, any trade involving a key member of the Avalanche going to the Wild needs to be gonged. Also, the Avalanche are not in need of an enormous quantity of players, which is all these trades would be good for. These moves would require the Avs to make about six other moves, none of which make them better than the current team's potential in a few years.
