Newsflash, if the other Karlsson puts up similar numbers he will cost closer to $10M than $5M. Good luck with that.

Ya, 5m is a little low, but $10m seems a little high for a guy who's put up only one year of elite numbers.

Only trade that doesn't seem right is the Montreal one. They're trying to load up on prospects and rebuild. Can't seem them acquiring a guy like Eakin. But Bergevin has done crazier things.

The trades were an afterthought to make cap space relativity “realistically” for EK. For Montreal, I thought they could use a good veteran center to help their young guys grow.
