imo simon should be an extra to start season, Cullen should be 4th line LW, beyond that I would switch ZAR and rust spots

41 year old Cullen should see as little time on the ice as possible till the games count for something. He should be played here and there to keep his game up and in playing shape but there is no need to get him killed in a 82 game season at 41.

I think you will see grant on that 4th line. I also think you may see Hayes there too. With ZAR on the bench. I like ZAR he's a good player. But Grant and Hayes bring size to that 4th line. It would be 6'3, 6'3, 6'5.
That's a real checking line.

Pens are about speed. Hayes can barely skate AHL for him. I do think the less playing time for Cullen is a good idea rotate him and grant on the 4th line. ZAR is the perfect winger for Sheahan.

ZAR Plays a straight line, up-and-down game and can line up at either wing position. His strong lower base helps him win a fair number of board battles. Can produce solid offensive numbers, too.

Hayes is 6 5 , 215 lbs vs 6 1 205 of ZAR. size is not huge difference and ZAR is a much better skater. Hayes is big but doesn't use his size, Needs to start doing a better job of utilizing his big frame more effectively, especially in

terms of physicality. Also lacks consistency in a major way in all facets of the game. Simon is an extra forward. I think if a healthy Brassard and a healthy Kessel can find some chemistry. Sprong shows a little ability in his own

end you could see Rust and Sprong with Malkin and Hags and Kessel with Brassard. Sully likes 3 lines that can be dangerous on the offensive side this gives each of the Pens big 3 forwards their own line. A 4th line of Sheahan

and ZAR with Cullen/Grant/Simon gives the Pens four pretty scary lines. It is a long season and with injuries hot and cold streaks i am sure we will see all kinds of line combos.
