Description

This is largely a pipe dream, and just something that I would love to see. Since Karlsson is Burns are both righties and both are true no.1 D men, maybe SJS see this as a way get retrieve assets by trading Burns, and give them cap space to resign Karlsson

Yes they could, but they have 25.7 mill in cap space next year, if they sign Karlsson to 7 years @ 11 mill, they will have 14.7 mill to sign Pavelski, and 7 other players. Doable for sure. But trading Burns gives them cap and better assets then they gave up for Karlsson.
