Am I right in assuming you're not a Nylander fan? Can you explain the logic on any of these?

I mean.. Rakell is untouchable by Ducks and other trades are just bad for Leafs.. Nylander is extremely great young talent!

I no longer trust that Kyle Dumb*ss was the smart one. He was ripping a fan at a Q&A yesterday for saying the defence needed improvement, like he has a right to not be offended.
This kid, with no record, is beginning to feel like Melnyk with his self-praise and whining.

He'll sign Nylander, only to lose Nylander and more. Expect more player management like Bozak and JVR.
Then it will be 5 years before there are any drafted prospects to join Matthews/Marner/Rielly/Lilegren who will be all that's left.


I'm actually hoping Nylander signs a contract in the KHL, that's the one way the Leafs won't squander assets.

To be honest, if Dubas turns out to be Melnyk I won't mind, because somehow he sat on a phone to negotiate Tavares into signing with the Leafs and how did he just make this roster so scary

I find these trades really meaningless, unless the author would at least have the decency to show what the contract will get with his new team. Would other teams really overspend to have Nylander? Would any 8m Nylander fit into the other teams cap? How is logical to compare Dubas to Melnuyk? Dubas is a GM, Melynk is an owner. Gee, some real bad thoughts on this post
