Description

Although Rick Nash in my opinion is no longer wroth as much as he is being payed here, the Nashville Predators coach and GM have shown little interest in moving the roster around. The signing of Rick Nash might not be super realistic, but it also could make sense. They sign him to a one year contract and by the time his contract ends they can still resign Fiala to a healthy contract and still have the cap space to give Roman Josi a nice pay raise. Not to mention they plan on giving Ryan Hartman a long term deal, and that could work out if Pekka Rinne takes a small pay cut for an additional year on the Predators Roster, but Rinne is also getting up there in age. Overall the addition of Rick Nash Alone gives the Predators a great chance at going for the Cup. (Watson is left in scratch because of his suspension)

First off.. Rick Nash is not an option as he likely wouldnt play hockey ever.. atleast for now.. and second of all.. Tolvanen is not a scratched player!

I fixed the Tolvanen Scratch as that was a mistake, but the Rick Nash signing was based on the fact that he might take a chance if he gets to go with, what is in my mind, one of the top contenders for the cup this year. But you might also be right, he more than likely will retire.

wait, this is for Dallas right? the Dallas Stars? cup contender? They're probably not going to make the playoffs. They're 100% behind the Preds, Jets, Blues, and Aves in their own division, so they'll be fighting it out for the last wildcard spot. So let's say they make the playoffs....I don't think Nash is coming out of retirement to get swept by the Preds or Jets.
