Fair value but doesn’t make sense positionally for St. Louis. They already have a very good upfront and now they have bortuzzo in your top 4? No thanks. Much better off keeping parayko

I think the gap between Parayko and Liljegren is bigger than Nylander and Kyrou. Kyrou had a great first game and looks like solid top-6 potential. I doubt he'll be as good as Nylander but it's closer than Liljgren being as good as Parayko. Value wise it's not a terrible trade, but the Blues need Parayko much more than they need Nylander. Our 2nd RD would be Jordan Schmaltz or Robert Bortuzzo if we traded Parayko. and this wouldn't work with the cap, we'd have to include likely Gunnar or Bouw.

This is so untrue, Nylander has back to back seasons scoring 61 points at 20 and 21 years old.

Parayko has back to back seasons scoring 35 points one at +7 and one at -7 at 23 and 24 years old

Both are very respectable numbers for rookie and sophomore seasons, but Kyrou is already 20 so he would need back to back 61 point seasons to match Nylander.
Liljegren is 19 and already has a year in the AHL under his belt and is about to have another and will be NHL ready by 20 or 21 years old.

Liljegren passing Parayko is much more likely than Kyrou passing Nylander in terms of overall player value/production. Meaning this trade heavily favors the Blues.
