another smart trade, Ekman-Larsson should definetly play with his brother! Maybe send down a couple irrelevant guys to the AHL and this team is winning the cup!

Paying KEL 2.5M is horrible. I reside in Tucson, so i see essentially every Roadrunners home game, and Ekman-Larsson is a scratch. The main reason why the Coyotes signed him is because when their mother passed away, the Coyotes reached out and made sure that they could be closer together during that tough time (also a good marketing ploy for some).

I actually live in Roadrunner, and i can tell you KEL is worth it, in fact, paying him 2.5 M is under valuing as he could get any where between 4-5 tbh. Hes a really solid defenceman who plays a solid 2-way game.

Besides being a laughable trade for Nylander, don't you think the Leafs would just sign him for that 6m price? In time KOL making 2.5m might be better value than OEL at 8.5m
