It wouldn't have looked so bad but there would be no way you were keeping two of those players, one of them would have had to go whatever happened.

I guess the issue is, even if Dorian hadn’t botched the last season of trades, is that this team still isn’t good enough to compete in the east. Look at Toronto, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Washington, Boston, etc... this team just isn’t up to the level that those teams are. Yes surprises happen (2017 ECF) but to be a perennial cup contender you need a better, deeper roaster. I think this team needed a rebuild, it was just excecuted horribly.
