switch the 4th 5th and 7th for a 2nd
The perception is that Bennett is better than Milano, or at least has a higher up side.
The reality is that both players have underachieved thus far and need a change of scenery.
If Bennett's numbers are: 246 G / 43 G / 48 A / 91 PTS / -44 +/- / 177 PIMS
and Milano's numbers are: 67 G / 14 G / 9 A / 23 PTS / -11 +/- / 10 PIMS
They both are very close in goals/game, points/game, +/- per game, and MIlano has taken so many fewer penalties (he is not a figher, not sure if Bennett is so cannot really compare how many minors taken, but that would be important to know, as some high skilled players do not focus/play defense as well and take lazy/stupid penalites, is that the case with Bennett?).
Columbus would assert that this should be a one for one trade with no picks going either way.
CBJ are depleted with picks and probably would not spend any in a trade like this.
