Description

I think this early in the season it would be smart for Sullivan to roll with 7 d men to have more time to play with line combos that they clearly dont have set in stone. The 4th line doesnt really see a lot of time each game. Having one fewer forward give the "stars" more ice time to share. I like the idea of double shifting Sid and Brassard where Brassard jumps from 3C to 1LW where he and Sid can both swap into double shift at 3C depending on the situation.

IMO Parayko and Schultz can produce at a very comparable rate, Parayko is a few years younger and a slightly higher ceiling.

Additional Details:

Sprong get added into the deal with some pick to offset the Injury time STL will miss with Schultz down. Sprong would probably be a little better in a new system where he has a chance of getting more than 6 minutes a game.

Leafs are going to offer Nylander for Parayko.. you are offering great AHLer and RH Gardiner.. Looks like Gardiner and Johnsson for Parayko bullshit again.

Im a Leafs fan but that trade which they were dealing with (Gardiner+Johnsson for Parayko) was horrendous..

I know hes a defenseman for the blues that scores 30-40 points per year (approx. 0.45 points per game).

Schultz as a penguin has produced at approximately 0.5 points per game and has 3 years of age on parayko.

Not a blues fan, nor am I in the west so I only see him play twice a year.
