I read something today about the Flyers sniffing around the Oiler's for the 4th Overall Pick. Just curious what the thoughts are on the possible trade scenarios between Edmonton and Philadelphia.
Truthfully as an Oiler's Fan if Provorov isn't involved in the deal I don't make it from an Oilers Stand point.

    Thoughts???

Huge overpay by Philly. I know Provorov was the 7th pick last year but he would likely be the top d-man in this year's draft and would go in the 4-6 range. I think you're looking at a straight up trade for Provorov, maybe you could squeeze a 2nd or 3rd rounder as well.

Interesting purposal, though I believe Edmonton needs an NHL ready D right now. Not another prospect.

Second what Jarrett18 said, that return is very unrealistic. Provorov would probably be worth the 4th overall pick by himself, and Neuvirth would command a pretty nice package as well after his performance this year. Not that we would ever give up Provorov for just a draft pick. He's also absolutely NHL ready, too good for juniors and not AHL eligible. He'll be with the big club next year.

No way this happens.. Philly would never give up Prov. Maybe Morin & Hagg or Alt but only if they retain their first round pick and gain Edmontons.

I offered this...I think mine is a lot closer. Maybe too much from EDM.
