Regardless of whether people think it's"fair" or not, Leafs could most likely get that 2nd changed to their 2019 1st (protected, obviously). Otherwise, it looks like a deal the Leafs could certainly benefit from. My honest opinion though is that the Leafs will let Nylander sit on the shelf for the entire year if they cannot work out a deal with him prior to December 1st.
