Not that much. Just quick thinking. Like "Simmonds could work nicely as a winger for Eichel in their possible playoff run."

We wouldn't be interested in UFAs. We are trending up and McCabe and sheary are useful and not expensive

No way Chicago would do that and I'd hope the Flyers wouldn't either. Sanheim is going to be really good. If only our idiot coach would use him correctly and Patrick is our future 1C whose really starting to turn it on lately with Lindblom.

The Caps and Flyers each have 15 standings points. They play in the same division. They're tied, just outside of playoff position. Washington is not handing off two healthy wings for an injured wing and an injured goalie, as cool as it would be to bring back Neuvirth. They also have less than zero cap space. If Orpik gets healthy before someone else gets injured, they end up .5M over, and have to send someone else to Hershey, where Walker is (so this trade raises their cap to about 3M over, when/if Raffl and Neuvirth get off LTIR.
