Just for shits n’ giggles...I know you’re not big on pesce but I do like him but see the value as being off. In your eyes pesce + foegele + zykov for nylander, would that be something you would pull the trigger on if nylander has to be moved.

I think Gardiner is someone you keep around for this year's playoffs and try to win with. He and Rielly are both #1 offensive defensemen. Adding a third only means you can drop him if other teams don't have three, and some depth at center.

If the Leafs go up against the Caps, who have Carlson, and then also have Orlov, and Niskanen scoring at the same rates as Rielly and Pesce.... well... then hopefully their centers outplay the Caps' centers by a lot, because their wings and goalies...

I like Pesce just not for Nylander and Gardiner. Fans on this site under-value Nylander and Gardiner. Both players are going to be making 6 plus next year with the Leafs or not.
