Description

Nylander won't take a deal and I'm not going to comment on if it's him, his agent, his dad whatever. It's looking like it's not going to work out so lets do something. I want to be done with this shenanigans.

Leafs trade Nylander a 2nd and STL's 4th for Parayko and Bouwmeester. (Only way St. Louis can afford to sign Nylander is to take salary back and Bouwmeester is a UFA after this year.)

And they might even be able to flip Bouwmeester to another team or what have you/he may even somehow end up playing third pairing and not be atrocious.

With way Blues other RHD were performing to this point they are not dealing the one performing greatly each and every night.

If Nylander doesn't sign I could see a trade like this happening. Babcock has coached Bouwmeester before with Team Canada.

Can we be done with rumour? St Louis would have no appetite to move Parayko. It's more likely Pietrangelo would be the one to go but that would be too costly and short sighted so this is all so far from ever happening that we can just go ahead and put it to bed.

The Leafs would like to get their hands on STL RHD man Parayko but i dont see them looking to upgrade their top 6 right now especially by trading a top dman. As far as trade suitors go i personally like STL but the reality is they seem to be lower on the list of trade target teams.
