Either way, a top 5 pick should yield a heck of a player for the Kings, which IMO could get them back to being competitive next season. Looks to me like everything has went wrong this season

Meh. Like every champion caliber team, eventually you’ve gotta rebuild. I’m just excited to see the youth movement start rolling through.

Might just be my opinion, but I think staying in the USHL was a poor decision on his part. League is not at all competitive for a player of his caliber, and he doesn’t seem to be producing much better than he did last year. Kakko meanwhile is producing well playing men’s hockey.

In the end I’ll be very happy with either though lol.
