Sorry, originally had a trade for him that I removed. Yeah without EK the team is bad, and EK isn't coming here, but honestly I'm not sure what reasonable trades would make us better right now... can Armstrong really just say "Hey [other GM], my best players aren't getting the job done, can I have yours?" Putting a guy like Tarasenko/Pietrangelo/Parayko/Schwartz out on the trade board immediately diminishes their value. It's not gonna be a pretty trade if we move those guys, but we could at least make out with some good pieces to move forward with.

I don't think that was the initial offer, but I would be surprised if it never got there in the negotiations. I mean, the kid's defenitly worth it in my opinion!

Yep, pretty embarrasing that this roster can't get it done, but here we are 1/4th of the way through the season and no one is picking up the team and getting results. I don't know if the system/coaching can change things fast enough to fix this year, but I certainly hope so. There is a fundamental problem with the leadership/veterans of this team. The GM said that these players had to be held accountable for the firing of Hitchcock 2 yrs ago; not much has changed and here we are with another coach fired and most of the core guys still whining about no confidence, a lack of effort, and being outworked in their media interviews.
