I woke up this morning thinking the Pens would be best to trade just one player and fix this out of balance problem. I was going to look for a match to trade Maatta. I would even add a player to make this work. Calling your trade "Simple" is so accurate. I have one word for you. "Show-off".

I think we gave up the best player in this trade and added a pick. Not the kind of deal we are looking for imo. The defense is FINALLY looking good, why **** that up?

Decent deal much better than all the DAL trades where we get Honka and Faska.
The defense is playign better but lets not think thats because of Maatta. Getting a depth RHD and a young scoring winger each with some term would be great. Might have to add a lil somehting extar than a 2021 3rd but decent trade

I agree, Nichushkin has 4 points in 22 games this year. And Johns is a #5-6 D.
