No way! I understand he’s having a slow season but u never know he’s young and he could be like domi and play elite next season. I always think till they r 25 their development is not over. Unless ur a goalie... u can be 27 and play ur first game and then win 2 cups (Crawford)

If Caps move Bura (and I don't think they do until they give him another chance) they'll want a top 9 forward in return. So probably Virtananen. Seems like both players need a change of scenery.

Over the last four years, Burakovsky's in the top 186 forwards in G (50) A (70), Pts (120), ESG (44), P/60, etc. He consistently scores like a top six forward (if six times thirty-one is 186). I'm not worried about when he's going to live up to expectations. He was drafted two spots after Gauthier, who has nine career points, has been a healthy scratch all year, and isn't mentioned much in trade rumors, strangely.

Virtanen has been pretty good this year. He’s better defensively than Burakovsky, and the Canucks really like him so I doubt this happens. Granlund is totally in play. As are Pouliot, Del Zotto, and Motte. Hutton and Virtanen are off the table IMO unless the deal is too goo to give up. They’re not better than Bura, they’re more valuable to the Canucks.
