No thank u from a habs fan, Gallagher is elite and both players are on great deals. Gally is our future captain. And Drouin and Domi have incredible chemistry. No thanx

Blues aren't giving up Schwartz and Schenn AND 1st. Perhaps a 2 for 2, but not the 1st as well.

Schwartz and Schenn are the best two players in the deal so Stl says no, but Schenn is expiring and Schwartz can’t stay healthy so Havs say no.

Weber is never gonna get stripped of the C. There'll be better options for C in 7 yrs than a 33 yr old Gallagher. IMO he won't be a Hab anymore by then.

Doesn't mattet what the Habs think. Should Armstrong do this trade even if he's saving cap and getting a younger Drouin who hasn't peaked yet?

So why is he on the market according to online sources?

Is MTL better off after this trade?

+ I don't see STL moving another 1st rounder. If anything, they are actively in the market to receive a 1st...

Isn’t he the one player Dreger said wasn’t available?

According to sources everyone on the roster is game, except for ROR , Thomas and Pietrangelo.

Which source? Thomas and O’Reilly are logically not available, but Pietrangelo definitely could be traded. Either Dreger or Friedman said they think Schwartz is untouchable also.

Actually for the four players it could be seem as a fair and even trade. But I'm not that enthused with the up and down Scheen and the oft injured (not his fault) Schwartz. Habs seem to have good. chemistry I wouldn't mess it up. Having a healthy Weber all season and minute eating/competent LHD is what the Habs need to making the playoffs (maybe not this year though).

I'll find it. But for Pietrangelo I remember the source stating that since Parayko hasn't performed to expectations since he got the extension, it'd be a safer choice to keep AP.
