To be fair I can see Toronto being interested in Petry, but he is not worth 2 first round picks hahaha.. For the STL trade, i don't see STL accepting that... If Panarin goes to FA i can see MTL being a big player , but I believe the most likely option would be for him to go back to the Hawks

2 1st rounder's for petry! you can't actually think that's fair...That makes a player like Ristolainen's value around 4 1st rounders (which is obviously not the case). The leafs would be better off trading for Trouba. Better player, and could get him for maybe around that price because of the contract status.

So you post one of the most obviously over valued trades in your team's favour as a solution for the leafs and cry about me laughing at it. Okay then, here is some constructive criticism.

You badly overvalue your players, and you offer a dman that Toronto has plenty of (ofd) at an absurd mark up. Toronto doesn't need any top 4 dman, we have plenty, we need a solid twd that can play the right side, of which we have 3 developing (one in the NHL now) and a 4th if you count Rielly (who has played most of his career on the right).
On top of that, Toronto has one of the best goal differentials in the league and is a top 10 performer defensively. While a good portion of that is due to Andersen, and the D is an important aspect to upgrade, going out and badly overpaying for guys that they don't need is nothing but a panic move and won't actually help us.

I am glad that you are able to take light hearted criticism as well as you are, so I hope you take this response even better. You deserve all of the one stars.

Merry Christmas
