i'd do that deal the picks alone have me thinking strongly about it given they are in 2019 and ANA much like MTL is just barely clinging to a wildcard spot and likely to miss the playoffs .

if Domi could have got a 1st rounder that high i'm sure ARZ GM woulda traded him instead of letting his value decline both seasons he was there playing under JC's Coyotes same reason we didnt trade Chucky before we wiped our ass with his value .

a 1st and a 2nd is a win but adding in a 3rd pick in the first two rounds of the 2019 draft and depth for after we offload players for playoff teams runs in which most dont require people to fill spots as most of our prospects will be in playoffs as they are at the top of their leagues and unable to come up to finish the season like we did in years past for Mccarron , DLR ,Andrighetto ,Scherbak and others .

with how deep this years draft is you'd be foolish to pass up an offer like that , Frig this is like Erik Karlsson level pick returns , maybe less prospects returned but thats to be expected however you're clearly overpaying for Domi as we were for Fowler

I still cant believe i'm the only one intelligent enough to be against MTL giving up 3 first round picks in the top 62 picks in the most stacked Draft since the 2003 draft which is full of Cup winners , Gold Medal Holders ,and Future Hall Of Fame Players.

Fowler isnt worth missing out on a Hughes,Turcotte,Dach,Cozen's ,or Suzuki who are all top Centers likely to finish top 10 in the final rankings with only a few wingers and D who might make the cut in Kakko,Byram and York.

its the Draft MTL's been waiting for and Fowler for a few years isnt worth pissing that away especially when thinking about York and Weber on PP for the next 5 years and the impact it would have

well that we agree on then outside Fleury who i think is a RD similar to Petry who in time will be a 2nd pair RD and top pair PP.
