Description
This isn't what I think will happen. It's what I think would be a good idea to try when healthy.

I think Cehlarik deserves a shot pretty soon. Nordstrom can return to his home on the 4th line where he belongs.

I'd rather have JFK centering line 3 than Cave because I think JFK could be the better player by the end of the season. Also Donato, Heinen and JFK looked good together.

Kampfer goes to the AHL. With Miller and Chara back they don't need him on the Roster.

Moore plays the right side as I see him as a better 2way presence than Miller.

The #3/4 vs #5/6 pairings don't really matter to me. It also doesn't matter which slot they're in from #3 to #6 as they'll pretty much all be around 20 minutes depending on special teams usage. The only thing that's firm is Krug is on the Left Side and isn't playing with Grzelcyk imo.

I did the special teams. I don't know exactly where McAvoy fits in, as Backes was on the 1st PP in front of the net and with Pasta playing the point with Krug, but with McAvoy's playmaking ability I can't leave him out. I don't put Krejci with Krug because I think that's a SH goal liability.

I think the PK looks solid. Those tandems would do a good job and the defenders are optimal imo. I keep McAvoy fresh by keeping him off the unit. Chara and Carlo take the majority of PK time as they didn't slot in on the PP obviously. Grzelcyk plays both PP and PK but is on the 2nd unit on both. I think he'd be a good candidate for the 7th player award if he continues to play at this level all season.

This took awhile to make, any comments are appreciated.

I don't think your PP is doable need net front presents on the #1 unit and Donato does not win faceoffs, PK is good, JFK in my opinion is not ready for primetime especially in the playoffs Cave can handle the physical aspects much better.

Cehlarik is not sound defensively or away from the puck, and is not better than Heinen offensively.

Cave should not be sent down. JFK at 3rd is fine but Cave at 4th if that happens. He looks solid. Hustles, finishes his hits, passes well, added offense at AHL this year. He will be a solid bottom 6 center in the NHL.

Krejci takes the faceoff on the 2nd unit then slides to the point like he already usually does.

Yeah, I just think it's about time to see what he can do. I don't think he's better than Heinen offensively and don't remember claiming that, but the 3rd line looked good with Heinen on it so I'd keep him there. Heinen moved with Bergeron and Marchand and that didn't last at all.

I don't know if I put Cave on the 4th line, we already have too many 4th liners. Someone would have to be sent down and I think everyone aside form JFK and possibly Cave would have to pass through waivers. I guess I could have opted to trade Acciari for a conditional 6th or 7th and kept Cave on the roster as he's probably better, but it's hard to target anyone wanting Acciari.

Just another LH winger mouth to feed. They should package a couple of them for a true RW.

Okay, so now the PP looks like this: LW = Man in front C= Bumper RW= Wall guy LD + RD take turns at the top but flex to the side for one timers as well when the Bruins shift.

Is this any better @BCarlo25 @ajc ?

There really isn't much opportunity to trade for a RH RW. Toffoli and Coyle are basically the guys who would help beyond this year. Mark Stone and Simmonds would make good rentals. I'd love to have Mark Stone, but you're giving up those 2 LH Wings like Heinen + Cehlarik + Zboril + 2019 1st to get to the level of value they'd think about and that's only if they truly like Cehlarik and Zboril.

It could work out where Cehlarik sticks and the team doesn't want to trade him because he's playing well. If he struggles the team moves him back down in 2-4 weeks when Bjork is probably ready to come back up and a huge point in this thread was to return Nordstrom to the 4th line where he belongs.

Nordstrom goes back to 4th when Debrusk returns.

But, ya there is not much out there. They can’t afford Stone. I like Toffoli and Coyle. Depends on cost. Someone i think they should be looking at is Sam Gagner. Nothing special, has fleas. But he would be cheap. Not a rental. Ryan Dzingal is another. He won’t come cheap and not RH but can play all 3 FW spots, fast, can score, small cap hit.

That's only if you keep Backes in the top 9 which doesn't seem like a great idea to me. I know he's been better lately, but I'd still put him on line 4.

I don't like Gagner. Dzingel is okay, but I bet they'll be looking for a 1st for him.

I’d rather have Backes on 2nd line than Nordstrom

I agree with that, but I think both are poor ideas lol.

NO! It looks ten times worse. Marchand off the top unit? What is wrong with you? I want my rating back
