Jets will not be trading any prospects who will be making the jump next year. The jets need ELC's for the cap crunch. It's a fair trade, just doesn't fit the jets. You could get a prospect like Dylan Samberg who is at the WJC

No way NYR trades Hayes & Namestnikov for so little in return. NYR would surly keep Namestnikov, who's signed for next season and resign Hayes long term if Gorton isn't given top return in trade. NYR is in a position where they do not have to trade any of their players. All their UFA's & RFA's can be easily resigned, except for maybe McQuaid. If teams are not willing to "overpay", overpay - what some on this site call a fair deadline deal, the Rangers simply won't blink in the final minutes of the deadline.
