I really don't like the idea of cullen as a 4C. The metrics are that bad. It will eventually catch up.

Who cares about metrics catching up.. Have you seen him play? The mans an ageless wonder. Hes kust been playing with AHLers mostly because of injuries. And he carries them.

I agree that the boys have been playing super well recently, but its hard to see them keeping Oleksiak as a #7. Personally, I see GMJR dealing one of him or Maatta for a future 3C guy when Brassard leaves. Other than that, no big chances are required. Goalies are performing, defense is waking up and offense is popping off.

I have seen him play, that's the reason the metrics will start catching up. He has really low Corsi numbers. 37.6%. His FF is 38.3 and his face offs are 46%.

So I'm not sure what games you are watching where he is "Carrying" anybody but it sure as hell isn't what is happening on the ice. You need to take those blinders off.
