You need a guy like Shanahan who would have balls to fire EVERYBODY in organization even every scout. Everybody on oilers, condors and so so on.. while Lowe, MacTavish and so on are in charge nothing would change and you can change Chiarelli, 30 coaches all you want, nothing would work since the main heads are still in place.

Most of these trades are lateral moves at best and would likely be rejected. Lucic is practically unmovable. If the Oilers are serious about turning things around they need to, as SammyT_51 said above, have Shanahan or someone like him come in and clean house. Also the Oilers need to be open to moving both Draisaitl and RNH. Drastically bring down the payroll until they can get rid of the Lucic contract.
