I could be sold on the Edmonton trade if you take out Puljujarvi and Brown. Edmonton probably doesn't want to give up on Puljujarvi yet anyway.

If Nurse is available, I'd think the Leafs would be interested. Not sure how willing they are to give up a 1st though, regardless of how late a pick it will be. Also, considering Nurse is left handed, would Dermott then jump to his off hand? Can Nurse play the right side? Ideally, the Leafs would acquire Nurse and Larsson and the return would involve Zaitsev, Gardiner, Brown, etc. put I don't see Edmonton making any significant deals until closer to the deadline, when they are either completely out of the playoffs, or super desperate to get into it.

That Edmonton deal is waaayyy off in value. Zaitsev and brown have very little value. That deal might get nurse but I'd still not do it. That is essentially a late 1st and a 3rd for nurse. However, a logical person would say no, chiarreli might just say yes lol
