Tarasenko and pietrangelo aren’t players you trade at the trade deadline. Bouwmeester, Maroon, and Schenn are players that will be traded.

There is a lot of chatter about how he's not worth much of the proposed trades. Blah blah blah. There's also a lot of "he's just a rental," which is dumb because he's signed through next year, from Toronto, and if Zaitsev is in fact moved, probably willing to play for what they can afford. Lots of kickback from Leafs fans, which is fine. They'd understandably rather have Parayko, but probably aren't willing to pay the true price to get him.

Switch Dobson with Bellows and you might have a deal from NYI. Dal Colle I feel like has more value to us than to other teams - is there someone you'd switch him out for? Maybe Wotherspoon/Ishkahov/Vander Sompel

exactly. If we take Zaitsev back, than my asking price is fair

I would want 1 forward 1 D back. So if dobson changes to bellows, than Dal Colle would change to your next best D prospect, who I assume is Bode Wilde. Since Im downgrading Id want another pick. So, maybe Tarasenko for Bellows, Wilde, soderstrom, 20191st and a 20202nd?

Not trying to split hairs, but I feel like Bellows/Wilde/Soderstrom/ and a 1st is plenty of value - basically 3 1sts and a second. Wilde is a tough pill to swallow, but I do it for Tarasenko

wilde and soderstrom were not firsts, but they are good enough to be.

Yeah, Wilde was projected to go in the first round but then slipped because of "character issues" - I believe he was committed to playing NCAA hockey, and then changed his mind and went to Saginaw, where he's currently playing at a 1.25 PPG pace. Wilde was the other one I was considering a "first"
