Maybe the Flames sign Reimer, about 2.5m cheaper than Fleury (not saying he is as good) but don't give up any assets. Malkin's salary is too much for near the cap Blues. And they're trading their best Dman and a cheap good youngster.

Yeah, just trying something different. Obviously this much change won't happen. But with saying that could the pens become a better and deeper team if Malkin and Kunitz were moved? I think so. Malkin is a general talent a legitimate number 1 center, what could the Pens get for him? Can they get a top line LW to play with Sid, plus a 2/3C and solid futures?
The pens are built N/S strong and having success, why not continue to build on it with players who fit the system the Pens are playing.
