true, i can't really see a fit there though unless they plan on trading Talbot. Jarry could be a Cheap starter option for them if they decide to do that

Probably a couple teams that need a starting AHL goalie, but the return won't be great. Maybe 4th or 5th.

he'll probably be in a package to acquire a player i don't think he'd be traded by himself

a team like carolina would be interested but thats in the division. Maybe GMJR would do a Jarry/ferland deal as a base

Jarry hasn’t shown the ability to start consistently in the NHL. He’s not even having a great year even in WBS. Its telling that the Pens went with DeSmith at double the AAV next season over Jarry, and they need all the flexibility they can get

Goalie prospects don’t have a lot of value. A 5th or 4th is probably fair. More likely a bundle like you say with one of their D. Still the value is probably about that. Def not getting Ferland for Jarry straight or anything like that.

Pens fan BTW

in the nhl 26 games started, 14 wins , 2.84 GAA .906 Sv% and two shutouts. and in the ahl this season 11W 6L 2.71 GAA .913 Sv% . how is he not having a great year? those are good numbers. & nobody ever said jarry would get ferland straight up that would be silly on the canes part.

Those arnt good numbers....

He’s had some great games and some total flops. Major consistency problem.
Check his game by game stats especially

29GP
.906sv%
-8.76GSAA (meaning he's let in almost 9 more goals than he should have)

So no, he hasn't proven to be able to start in the NHL. Hell, he doesn't even have a good AHL record. He's played 115 games and averages a .913sv%, which is fine but not great.
