Before starting, Nugent-Hopkins is my favorite player so I may be biased.

I would not be happy with that return for him . The only thing of value that I can see is the 1st where the rest just seems like a dump of prospects that might not ban out (although I'm going purely on stats I looked online so I could be wrong). I would prefer if Nichushkin or Honka were added ot the trade instead

i mean the offer as listed doesn't really get it done. Dellandrea and a first gets it done (i'll give you a condition on it being a top 3 pick just in case dallas falls out of a playoff spot and its a lottery pick). Rangers wouldn't really be interested in the other pieces.

Honestly the best way for Dallas to compete is to trade the entire core, get a ton of assets, and rebuild. I just don’t think this core can win
