Description
Sorry guys, but time to make moves at TDL to free cap and get picks. Saad and Anisimov are both moved since they don't have NMCs, and like to see Keith moved but unlikely he waives however TOR would be a good fit and Nylander is playing just bad. Time for the Hawks to focus on drafting high in the lottery (Hughes, Kappo, Cozens) all of whom should be able to step in, focus on their younger prospects, and eyes on free agency.

The Pens don't want, nor do they need Chris Kunitz.

The Toronto trade is lacking too. Sure, Nylander has been poor since coming back, but in the long run, he's worth more than an aging defender, a 4C, a future 5/6 D, and a late 2nd rounder

So Kunitz retires a Penguin....nothing more.

Tor is in cap trouble and Nylander has been playing like crap. If Tor wants to make a solid run, they desperately need a top 4 defender and cup experience...not enough can be said for that and keith isn't a tough cap hit to swallow. They also could use a Kruger as a 4C on the penalty which they lack and he's only a playoff rental nothing more. Blake Hillman gives them another D prospect. Maybe it's a little shy but it's close.

I'll agree on the part that they need an RHD, but there will probably be younger, cheaper options available (Nick Jensen comes to mind) where they wouldn't be forced to part with more than a 3rd round pick. As for Kruger, they don't need him, Frederik Gauthier has been very good as their 4C, and they could use that roster spot on a guy like Trevor Moore or Tyler Ennis

Did you just compare Duncan Keith to Nick Jensen as something to consider?

Terrible deal for the Leafs. This year isn't the year to make the push, Tampa is going to the finals from the east. Nylander is not producing, but he's playing good. Take a look at his analytics. We don't want spare parts for a future star. Anyways, we have Sandin, Rosen, and Liljegren who can make the jump next year, in addition to mabye signing Nick Jensen. We're fine, Dubas will figure out the cap, he's a lot smarter than us ;}. Edit: We have a 4C already.

Five stars for putting effort into the post, seems to be flat on the hawks front for TDL/offseason plans. Sick of the same over and over.

Well no. I just said that Jensen would be a better and more realistic option which at the same time, would burden the team in the long run cap situation.
