Tampa is better this season than last. And I think the biggest reason why Tampa lost to Caps last year is because they got tired for absolutely destroying Bruins in 5 games or something like that.

Plus Caps were pretty good, I give you that.

I agree that Tampa’s loaded, but I would say that the Caps commitment to defensive structure (1-3-1) Neutral Zone trap probably had a little more to do with it than Tampa being tired from winning a first round series in 5 games. Also Washington’s lines are good too and match up well with Tampa IMO. All in all though I can’t wait for April to roll around.
