I don’t know, Slavin is a number one defender on most teams. With Roslovic Jets don’t seem to miss Ehlers and they don’t really need the other pieces, number one D are prob the hardest thing to trade for.

Slavin and Aho are only untouchable Canes.

Roslovic hasn't done much points wise since Ehlers went out so I'd say they're missing Ehlers and Roslovic needs to eventually shift back to center.
I know Slavin is good but if Ferland walks at free agency that's a lot to pay for a LD especially considering next season Niku could fill that second pairing spot.
This is just way too much for the Jets to give up.

I love Slavin but the jets dont need him. They have morrissey. Trouba for Slavin would be a more realistic trade

If you’re comparing Ehlers with Scheifele and Wheeler, you’re right. If you’re comparing Ehlers numbers with Little and Laine then no Roslovic is creating almost as much but is much better defensively. He’s smarter and doesn’t turn the puck over as much. Niku isn’t in the same stratosphere as Slavin and he’s signed for 5.3 million for the next 6 years. Ferland can put the puck in the net too, has just as many goals as Ehlers(both at 13) and can be very physical (playoffs)
