As a Vancouver fan, I would do this deal. But there is not way Toronto does this deal.

I think people are getting the idea that nylander is a bust and that’s why there are so many trades. I think any reasonable leafs fan isn’t concerned about that. It is the development of kappy that makes nylander slightly expendable. Any package including nylander returns a young 1st pairing potential Dman with term and nhl experience. Parayko, pesce Risto... along that line.

I agree with you wrt Nylander being a bust. However, I also think your ask is too high for Nylander alone. First pairing potential Dmen with term & experience are highly sought after. Probably the highest value assets outside first line center.

I'm not a Leafs fan, but I agree the Leafs should trade Nylander for that type of asset. I think he's redundant on this team with all the other top six scorers.

As a canucks fan i would never do this trade. need those players and plus Dahlen is a good prospect. plus we need the cap space to sign petterson, boeser, quinn huges in the future.

Not saying nylander alone, just a package with nylander. Pesce I think you get back something back with pesce, not straight up. Risto is a 1 for 1 I would say. Parayko maybe a little to top up on the leafs side.

If Kappy didn’t look so good I would never trade nylander. The issue is that Dubas already said he will not be traded. So clearly and consistently that it will be hard to go back on his word.
